1.- ¿What is the vocal mail?

The Vocal Mail, is a service that allows to collect calls in a mailbox of voice, that can be personalizado by each user, and that has capacity to bear a group of telephone functions advanced like mail of voice and automatic operator.

2.- ¿How it works the service?

In the phase of contact, the vocal server issues the following message:

2.1.- "Good morning/You take/nights, welcome to the University of Alicante, the person to which Unit calls can not attend him in these moments, if it wishes it can leave a message in his personal mailbox. It can begin to speak ..."

2.2.- In case that Unit there is personalizado his message, after the previous message, issue the one who has recorded the user.

If it puts in contact with the administrator of the system, the message pregrabado, can reduce, of such form that after saying: "Good morning/you take/nights, welcome to the University of Alicante", issue the message personalizado, finalizando with the indication of the machine, that says: "it Can begin to speak".

3.- ¿How it actuates the service?

From his own extension, mark *211#

When it receive a call, the telephone will sound 4 times and afterwards will jump to the Service of Mail.

If Unit has programado some previous detour to any one of the extensions of his surroundings (detour if busy or absent), will have to actuate a Follow "me" to the Service of Mail. It mark *21*3000#

The "Follow me" prevail on the detour. In this case the call jumps directly to the Service of Mail, without sounding in the extension of the user.

4.- ¿How desactiva the service?

It mark #211#. In case to having actuated a Follow "me", mark #21#

5.- ¿How it warns of the existence of new messages?

When the Service of Mail has messages collected for Unit, to the descolgar the terminal, informs him of the existence of new messages, issuing a tone entrecortado.

6.- ¿How they review the messages?

6.1.- From the own extension:

It mark the extension associated to the vocal server. It will request him his key of access and will begin the procedure of review of messages.

EXTENSION OF THE SERVER OF THE VOCAL MAIL: 3000

6.2.- From any another extension or from the outside:

Call to his extension. It will answer him the Service of Mail.

Press # in the message of welcome. It will request him his key of access and will begin the procedure of review of messages.

Al finish to listen the message, the system expects 3 seconds before issuing the following. In this time, has the following options:

Store the message: it press "5"

Listen it again: it press "2"

Delete it: it press "0"

It can listen the messages filed, pressing *2 despues of finalizar the audition of the block of messages or the locución that it has not collected any message.

It does not suit to store the messages more than 1 month, since the system will erase them automatically happened this period.

7.- Key of access

Initially, his key of access coincides with his number of extension.

If it wishes to change of key, press *3 during the message of welcome. The key is a numerical sequence of 5 digits at most. If the key is "0", the system considers that it does not wish to have key of access.

8.- Personalización Of the message of welcome

If the user finaliza the audition of the block of messages pressing *5 directly, access to the option to "record a message of greeting". Of this form records the personal message of welcome that issue when receiving a call. After pressing *5, offers the following submenú to record messages of greeting:

"1" Record message of greeting

"2" Change a message of greeting

"3" Listen the message of greeting

"4" Consult the current message

"5" Erase a message

"*" To finish
